Our kitchen is run by Ben Fisher, ex Pot Kiln, Tom Aikens (2 star) and The French Laundry (3 star). His menus are delicious, honest and unfussy, always seasonal, local when best and hand made from scratch. We are one of only a handful of restaurants in the South East of England to be awarded 2 AA rosettes.
Almost everything is sourced within 30 miles of us from artisan suppliers and family fishermen and farmers who live and work around us.
Our New England dining room is calm and relaxing and reflects our location. Light and airy during the day, more romantic at night.
In 2013 the Bistro was voted as one of the ’12 best seafood restaurants in the UK’ (Red Magazine) and ’10 best places to eat by the beach in the UK’ (The Times)
